For the foreseeable future, I’ll be taking over MAGNET’s Take Cover! column, which each week features a great and/or recognizable song and a standout cover of the same. This week, I take a look at David Bazan’s cover of “The Man in Me” by Bob Dylan, a song that defined 1998’s The Big Lebowski.

She discusses how vanishing ad revenues have not simply caused the dissolution of entire print magazines, but have nearly killed the support for thoughtful commentary on music, as well. Q&A: Balmorhea →
I had the great fortune of interviewing Michael Muller from Balmorhea upon the band’s return from their most recent travels abroad and the piece ran today for Magnet. In addition to the Q&A, a tour journal entry and pictures will run on Magnet’s website once-a-day Tuesday through Saturday, wherein Muller & Co. will document this particular adventure.
