My writer/editor relationship with Cole Hill, from 2015 to 2016, ranks at the top of my writer/editor relationships thus far. Cole trusted me to write about nearly anything—leftfield experimental music, Christian hardcore, Big Indie, how melancholy filters music. Some pieces were straight reported features, others were deeply personal essays with reported elements. I’m grateful I found Cole when I did in my growth as a writer.
